The manual is a component of the educational and methodological kit "Mathematics. 4th grade" by Svitlana Skvortsova, Oksana Onoprienko. The notebook was created on the basis of the textbook, complements its content, which ensures that students achieve the expected learning outcomes.

The notebook consists of two parts. The second part contains materials for the second semester of study and can be used at various stages of students' assimilation of the study content. The manual contributes to the organization of students' independent cognitive and research activities, the diversification of types of work in the lesson, the effective formation of mathematical concepts and methods of action. The master's hat marks tasks for students with a high level of cognitive needs and capabilities; with a magnifying glass — tasks involving educational research. The notebook contains the "Worksheets" application for making the necessary entries for some tasks. The material is presented taking into account the psychological characteristics of modern fourth-graders.
